Is Plerdy free: the Free plan in numbers
Yes. Plerdy's Free plan is $0 "Forever" on its pricing page, as read on October 30, 2026, and its FAQ says it comes with limited usage of every tool. On Free, a heatmap (a report of where visitors click, scroll and move the pointer) counts against 100 page views a day and covers up to three pages. A video session is a recorded visit you can replay; Free holds 500 in total and keeps data for 1 month.
| Limit | Free plan | Trial, with the Scale plan's limits |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $0, forever | Free for 14 days, then the account moves to the Free plan |
| Heatmap page views a day | 100, on up to three pages | 1,500 |
| Video sessions | 500 in total | 10,000 in total |
| Storage | 1 month | 3 months |
| AI connectors | Not available | 300 requests a day |
Free also lists 100 pop-up displays, 100 e-commerce tracking and 100 conversions a day. A/B testing is unlimited on every plan. The button below opens Plerdy's 14-day trial.

Start a 14-day Plerdy trial →What the 14-day trial adds, and what happens after it
Every paid card reads "Start 14-day free trial", and "No credit card required" is printed once under the cards. Plerdy's pricing FAQ says the trial has the same limits as the Scale plan. When the trial ends, Plerdy says the account moves to the Free plan, which keeps data for one month.
The Free plan is separate from the trial: its card says "Forever" and its button reads "Sign Up for FREE".
What the Free plan leaves out
Free has no AI connectors. An AI connector (MCP) is a read-only link between your Plerdy data and an AI assistant, and Plerdy says it works on all paid plans, including the trial of a paid plan. Error monitoring on Free shows the top 1 error and keeps its history for 5 days. Heatmaps cover three pages only.
Reaching a limit costs nothing extra: Plerdy's FAQ says there are no automatic additional charges. Its Terms say data collection stops when a daily view limit is exceeded.
When a paid Plerdy plan starts to pay off
Pay when a site outgrows a Free limit: three pages, 100 heatmap page views a day, 500 video sessions in total or 1 month of storage. Startup is the first paid step at $32 a month billed monthly or $21 a month billed annually, with 500 heatmap page views a day, 5,000 video sessions in total and 3 months of storage.
Plerdy also sells extra limits one tool at a time: 1,000 more heatmap page views a day, or 1,000 more video session records, costs $9 a month each. The Plerdy pricing guide lists every plan on both billing bases.
Other free plans and what they count
Each free plan counts something different. Microsoft says Clarity is free forever with no traffic limits, and it keeps recordings for 30 days; is Microsoft Clarity free covers the details. Hotjar is now part of Contentsquare, where new users get Contentsquare Free: up to 200,000 monthly sessions, with replays captured for 5 percent of sessions. Mouseflow's Free Forever plan counts 500 sessions a month. Inspectlet's FAQ puts its free plan at 2,500 recorded sessions a month.
Plerdy Free suits a small site that needs heatmaps on up to three pages and up to 500 recordings in total. Pick Microsoft Clarity for maps with no traffic limits at no cost, and Mouseflow's Free Forever plan for 500 sessions a month. The free heatmap tool for website guide sets them side by side.
